Gi Match Between Nick Diaz And Kron Gracie Rumored To Occur At The Gracie Open in Pleasant Hill.

Added 08/24/08 – Not so surprised to see this match never happened.

According to a recent post on GracieFighter.com, the Stockon MMA standout Nick Diaz is keeping busy during his time off from the cage.  He is currently focusing on training with the gi, preparing for the Gracie Open Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament. Unlimited Kickboxing (inside of Milpitas Health and Fitness Center) in Milpitas, Ca is hosting another Open Mat Submission Challange. This event is a no gi submission style event, not full contact MMA.  Event will be held August 30, 2008. Registration to compete is $20 before the event, $30 if you wait until the day of.
